Fasting is the first major step in cleansing, but it must be followed by cleansing of the mouth, which controls the body energetically and physically.

Our mouths typically contain a mixture of metals, forming a battery in the mouth. Most common is dental amalgam, which is 50% mercury, one of the most toxic substances on the planet. This is a controversial subject in the US -- the government and mainstream dentistry endorse amalgam in the mouth, while the government makes it a felony to put 1 drop of mercury in the ground and sets very rigorous standards for dental office employee exposure to the dangerous mercury/amalgam

Within the last 20 years, however, newer branches of dentistry have experienced and addressed the insidious health problems caused by amalgam and other problems in the mouth, such as root canals and hidden infections (which are often caused by the amalgam). Study Chapter 8 and do your own research. To me the evidence is overwhelming. I have personally experienced my own dramatic improvement and that of many others when the mercury is removed from the mouth and the body. One current case is a 50ish, man diagnosed with cancer of the lymph system throughout his body, who was told to "go home to die, medicine could offer him nothing". He removed his 14 amalgams in 2 weeks, and achieved a dramatic turnaround in his health and BTA, from one of near death to one of low health, from which he is now making steady improvement.

The first step to regaining health, is to have a Biological Dentist remove the mercury from the mouth. Then and only then, one can begin the 2nd step, to clease the mercury from the tissue of the body where it shuts down nervous systems and blood supply, typically of the prostate. Mercury detox is critical to restoring a healthy prostate. Many men have not been able to heal their prostate cancer until the mouth and body are cleansed of mercury, the resultant infections and root canals. Healing has been dramatic, following the cleansing of the mercury, PSAs returning to normal and symptoms reduced or gone See announcement by health insurers in September 19,2006, WSJ, page D1, that Dental is now recognized as a major cause of Disease and for the first time insurers are now going to pay for major reconstructive dental work, to save on later costs of treating disease.

FDA Hearings on Mercury Amalgams Sep 2006

That two independent scientific panels repudiated the FDA staff position on mercury fillings is great new.  It means that FDA is itself divided on whether mercury fillings are safe – or whether they are a health risk.  Panelists recognized that mercury fillings can well pose health risks to sensitive individuals, to pregnant women, and to children.

You can boldly tell your patients and the public:
Two panels of distinguished scientists, physicians, and dentists voted 13 to 7 to reject the position that mercury fillings are safe

Here are some details.  On September 6 and 7, two FDA panels of distinguished scientists convened for the sole purpose of addressing the neuro-toxicity of mercury amalgam.  One panel was primarily physicians, the other primarily dentists, with an array of scientist-consultants added.  All of them are credentialed in their fields, and all must pass FDA ethics requirements before being appointed.  After hearing pro-mercury rhetoric from the FDA staff, they then heard from a talented and highly-energized group of witnesses whose testimony precisely demonstrated the health risks of mercury fillings -- they included numerous injured patients, plus scientists (Boyd Haley and Hal Huggins), a physician (Rebecca Painter), mercury-free dentists (including Dave Kennedy, Paul Gilbert, Andi Brockman, Felix Liao, Wayne King, and Steve Marcus) and lawyers (Bob Reeves, Sandy Duffy, Jessica Kerger, Johann Wehrle, and yours truly)

The FDA staff presented a White Paper consisting of shopworn rhetoric, selected studies (some of whom were misinterpreted) and out-of-date conclusions about mercury toxicity; in short, the staff paper argued that mercury fillings are safe.  By two votes of 13 to 7, this panel decisively rejected the FDA staff position.  It is highly unusual for a panel to disagree with staff.  The questions presented:

“Does the draft FDA White Paper objectively and clearly present the current state of knowledge about the exposure and health effects related to dental amalgam?”
               Yes 7
No 13.

“Given the amount and quality of information available for the draft FDA White Paper, are the conclusions reasonable?
               Yes 7
No 13.  [N.B.: Two-thirds of panelist says the position that mercury fillings are safe is not reasonable!]

After the vote, each panelist – including mercury-free dentist Mike Fleming -- made a statement.  Virtually all expressed concern in one of more of the following three areas:

  • the need for informed consent (real informed consent, telling about the mercury and its effects;
  • the need to stop usage for pregnant women and children (as Canada, Sweden, the U.K., etc., already do), and
  • the reality that a substantial number of persons are severely hypersensitive.  Some highly intelligent and educated consumers testified that they had no idea that “silver” fillings are mercury – until it was too late.  Please, please proscribe the term Silver Fillings, and make dentists say the “M” word when describing a material that is so full of mercury.

FDA is itself divided on whether mercury fillings are safe, meaning, in our regulatory system, they are not proven safe (there is no category between safe and unsafe).  In short, then, our government can no longer guarantee American parents and young women that mercury fillings are safe for their children and babies.
The solution is obvious -- we need an immediate ban on mercury fillings for pregnant women and children under seven -- the Health Canada model.  From there, we work to put mercury fillings into the dustbins of history.
